197- Kitties are all doing well. Geezy watched me, but wouldn't come close. Patty only watched also, but Scamp and Toby went everywhere with me! Very cute couple of kitties!
134- You never told me about Lou-lou! Good thing she's a lovie! Bubba was very happy to see me, and so was Buddy--brought me his blue toy. Rusty remembered me after a minute. Lil Sis was as sweet and shy as always.
195- Gave Zipper 1/2 Zyrtec this evening. Hope that helps her. I left a note for Jon this morning, but I found it on the ground with a bite missing...and the bite size matched Foxy perfectly! Boone thinks I'm a wuss when it come to frisbee throwing, and Walker played fetch with me with a tennis ball. He also likes playing with one of the old plant pots.
188- Happy active doggies! So...do you think they'll swim in your pool this summer? I think I'd put a lifejacket on Rusty!
188- Rusty and Pip are hanging in there. I found the lid to the food dispenser--it was over on the bench. I heard Pip bark today for the first time. What a huge difference between her "regular" bark, and Rusty's baying! (The picture is upside down, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to save otherwise!)
195- Everyone is doing great! Eating well--but I did have to remind Boone to eat HIS food, and not Zipper's. Foxy and Walker are being super sweet. I didn't see Zipper's meds though.
188- Risty and Pip are doing great--really enjoying the good weather. I hope they enjoy it as much when it gets hot!
77- Velcro had a conference today with a 'tiel named Quincy in Houston! My friend called, she's also a pet sitter, and she was visiting Quincy while I was visiting Velcro. So the birds spent a good deal of time whistling to (at?) each other. Princess was awake, a little shakey on her feet but she ate and drank quite a bit.
77- Velcro had a good time today. I finally realized the tap, tap, tap on my shoulder (see video below) was because he wanted a cashew, and I got a video of that also, but that one went black for some reason. Princess is sleeping alot, and Espinoso enjoyed his playground time...well, as far as I could tell he did--hedgehogs don't have a lot of facial expression!
196- Took a while for hershey to realize I was there. Beautiful day here--Annabelle and Dasher were enjoying it. Ashton was very playful, as you can see--I don't know why he thought the food in the cup was better than the food in the dish-- and Jingle was acting like royalty!
77- All is well on the homefront. Took care of the battery charger. Velcro was not fond of the jacket I had on today--too crinkly and slippery.
185- Gris was very happy today, and so very snuggly he made me sneeze--ALOT! Gave him his Lysine.
196- Ashton was quite vocal today--not only supervising, but giving instructions! LOL! Dasher wanted to eat Hershey's food, so I made a note--feed Dasher and Annabelle first, and THEN Hershey. It was funny seeing Hershey on one side of the glass, and Jingle on the other. Annabelle rolled in the wet grass and liked it!
111- Both kitties got to eat, Marshmallow prety much left Moe alone. Moe was very, very affectionate today. He met me at the door--not sure where Marshmallow was, she just appeared in the kitchen while my back was turned. When I left she was conversing with a BIG gray cat, behind the shed. S/he (the gray cat) went all the way down to the bottom of the ravine when I showed up.
77- Velcro was in fine voice tonight!!! Whistled up a storm. His light wasn't turned on though...this morning was probably hectic for you. Princess and Espinozo were both sleeping (not a big surprise there!) Didn't see your e-mail until I got home--I see to the battery charger in the morning.
111- Marshmallow let Moe eat quite a bit--but they were both more than ready to eat when I arrived. Marshmallow is quite a little cutie!
185- Gris still felt like quite an armful when I picked him up, but I think that's because he's so muscular compared to my little old girl. He looks slimmer. Left eye kind of watery, poor baby. He was very loveable--more interested in cuddling than in playing. What are these cats going to do when I have to get new sneakers???
196- Both Jingle and Ashton were very friendly, and Ashton especially wanted to supervise EVERYTHING. Hershey was looking in the door--he may not want to be pet, but he sure is curious about the other cats in the house. Annabelle and Dasher both chowed down immediately. All went well on the first visit!
97- Poor Jet looked so pitiful this morning--he's so little and pouts so well! Kate's nose was wet too, so she must have been poking her head out of her stall. Mittens stayed in with Marcie and Jet.
83- No petitions today. I think S forgot left his lunch and left it out, so I put it in the fridge. Danny was again in Ben-Ben's spot. And you know what's funny? I bet if you made that into a place FOR Danny, then he would ignore it! Maya was snoozing and sweet. I watched the birds at the feeder while the turtles finished eating.
83- Danny was snuggled in Benny's bed again, but he came out to get brushed. The big turtle was plenty hungry. 7 more petitions, and Maya was as sweet as she always is...what a cutie!
83- Kind of a repeat of what I texted already--petitions brought in, Danny under bed, and Benny was wonderful in the car!
195- Welcome home! And wouldn't you know it--it's going to start warming up! Zipper, Foxy, and Walker were all in their houses and dry when I got there tonight, but Boone was out and wet--those Labs just LOVE the elements, don't they? I realized after I left...I forgot to check the mail today. I put the food bowls in the houses, so the food wouldn't get soggy (except for Boone's since he went right to eating). (This pic is from a couple days ago--I didn't want to take my phone out in the rain.)
135- Peppy looks ready to pop! Will the babies be safe, or will you have to relocate them temporarily from the big ones? Sweet Pea and Fred were waiting patiently inside(well, maybe Pea wasn't so patient)--it was (is) very cold...down in the 20s for tonight. Maggie was snuggled in "her" bedroom--she quite obviously owns that bed.
195- Left you a voicemail at about 1:30 about the weather (although as you can see, it was sunny this morning! Sunny but very chilly already), then got your e-mail just as I finished the evening visit. But I had brought over lots of things for Zipper and Boone (but especially Zipper) to burrow down in and snuggle, and a second tarp for the outside. I emailed you. Jon and I talked after that, and he said he will be staying there tonight. So all is well.
195- Foxy wanted to have a chase game this morning before going back into the kennel, but she finally relented and went back in, when she realized I wasn't going to chase her. Boone got a lot of frisbee time tonight.
126- Everyone is behaving super good. I even got Kiwi to give me a new pose, instead of the same old, same old. And Beaux still won't hold still for a picture.
